Second, it increases the effectiveness of your long-term memory. Your brain will be more alert and more receptive to the information when it is stimulated by a routine change.

As a person gets older, one of the saddest things that can happen to them is memory loss. Prescription medication may be the most effective course of treatment if memory impairment is caused by an actual medical condition--dementia or Alzheimer's, for instance.

Improved memory is just one of the many benefits of regular exercise. You do not have to spend hours working out, a few minutes of activity should be enough.
