Use NLP Selling Techniques to Increase Your Sales

  2. Develop more psychologically subtle questions for identifying your customer's needs. This NLP selling technique can include questions about the issues the customer has with their current product or service and what specific features and benefits they want to have with a new product or service.

  3. Interrupt your customer's patterns of thinking to overcome any objections. With this NLP selling technique, you want to move your customer on to another area of thinking, For example, if they are concerned about the price of your product or service, you might want to counter this by asking them what benefits they expect for their money. Customers always want to know "What's in it for me?" Use this NLP selling technique to change their pattern of thinking and establish a different road into the sale.

  4. Use a position of authority to close your sales. As a rule, people find it easier to follow someone who is in a position of authority, thereby reducing the number of sales objections. For this NLP selling technique, you present your customer with quotes from or examples of well-known people who are using your product or service.
