Ways On How To Build A Close Relationship With God

One is deprived of good life when he lacks inner peace. Their frustration and anger often hinders them of finding true friends and better opportunities thus they live a miserable life. Knowing how to build a close relationship with God can be useful for these folks. However they must be willing to accept His teachings in order for them to harness the benefits of His love. Only those who are willing to take His challenge will benefit from this effort.

Treating God as your new best friend is better than mingling with the wrong crowd. Talking to Him through prayer enables one to understand the situation better and alleviate the pain. Sharing every moment with Him contributes in maintaining a happy disposition despite a turbulent day. One does not need to say it out loud just to be heard. Close those eyes and give thanks for every blessing or challenge that comes your way. Just seek for wisdom. Evidently He has His reasons why things happen.

Bible verses are helpful if one yearns to have an organized lifestyle. Placing it in index cards or downloading an eBook version of it is ideal to keep one focus. This profound literature should be read as often to avoid back sliding.

Form a study group to make your Christian journey more enjoyable. Ask family and friends to join you. Involving yourself with related activities somehow keeps you from getting distracted. This is also helpful in understanding Biblical passages better.

Meditate. Find a quiet spot that will allow you to contemplate on your journey. Spend at least an hour praying or reading bible verses until you find inner peace. You need a sound mind to make a sound decision. Seclusion is highly recommended to keep you focus and strengthen your will power.

Fasting can help you understand the essence of your spiritual journey. However it is different from starvation. You may want to engage in other forms of abstinence to complete this. Depriving yourself of gadget use or social gatherings is also considered as fasting.

Evangelize. Introduce Him to as many people as you could. Let them know how He touched and changed your life without arguing about it. Join outreach programs or simply share the experience when given a chance. You should not be offended if others mock you. Remember that not everyone is open to the idea. Just be patient and stay humble. It is part of the process.

Expectations can only frustrate you. Learn to accept changes and seek wisdom to overcome its ill effects. Look at it as a challenge and be steadfast in facing it. Maintain a strong faith to keep you afloat. Be rest assured that He will keep you company throughout the struggle. Treat it as a redirection. Evidently He knows what is best for His children thus you just have to trust Him.
