Disappointments, frustration and anger are inevitable. However constant manifestation of these emotions can be detrimental to ones well-being. It can lead to manic depression if not addressed immediately. Ignoring it on the other hand produce the same effect. Knowing how to free myself from emotional pain is helpful in overcoming such ill feelings. Producing such outline is useful in obtaining inner peace amidst confusion.

Begin writing all your thoughts in a journal. Be spontaneous and descriptive when jotting each idea or feelings. Review it frequently especially when you are confused. Each entry can be used in identifying the source of your mood swings. Evidently you must acknowledge this to derive an effective solution.

Allot some time to grieve. Compressing those emotions will only lead to self-pity. Find a shoulder to cry on and pour your heart out. Remember one cannot completely move on with so much agony thus it is important to let the world knows how you are feeling.

Store the memories away in the basement. Stop looking at old pictures, love letters and other souvenirs of the past until you have moved on. Reminiscing may only hinder the heart to forget. Rekindling every memory will only make you feel the lost thus engage in activities that you have not tried before. Use each moment to be productive. Entertain new possibilities that will improve your well-being. However try not to get into illicit acts. It will only produce regrets prolonging the healing process.

Do community service. Use the opportunity to learn how others overcome their own dilemmas. Exposing yourself to different situations and personalities will help you broaden your understanding of life. Some instances invoke positive approaches allowing you to see the beauty of each struggle. Evidently there is a lesson behind every hardship. You just need to learn it to become a better person.

Seek divine intervention when things are at its worse. Consult a spiritual advisor or simply pray for wisdom and inner peace. Read biblical passages to alleviate the agony. Browse the internet to find related materials as a source of inspiration. Compile some of its quotes on index cards for reference. This is helpful especially when no is around to listen.

Do not forget to stay fit during your struggle. Observe proper diet, get enough rest and exercise. Being heartbroken is not a good reason to neglect ones health. Besides you cannot resolve conflicts without a sound mind and a healthy body.

Life does not end with hardships. You only fail when you give up. Learn to let go of grudges to see what is ahead. As they say there is light after every storm. Bravely pick up the debris of the past and forgive yourself from the mistakes you committed. However do not rush it. Let time heal all wounds. Note that sometimes you need to distance yourself from what hurts you to rebuild a better you.
