Most individuals who abuse alcohol understand the reasons why they should quit drinking, but the how continues to puzzle even this most diligent person among us. Maybe you have made a big legal mess or you've lost one more job. Maybe your spouse has left you or your family is tired of your behavior. Whatever your reason is, it is time to take a good look at yourself and finally be determined to stop drinking liquor.

If you are an alcoholic who has been drinking heavily for a long period of time, you need to seek your doctor's advice before quitting in order to help you through withdrawal and detox. The pain and discomfort others experience is minimal. A lot of alcoholics have tried to stop once or twice in their lives. But the physical cravings can last for years. Tell People (that understand)

If you need understanding and support throughout the process, tell people you trust that you will stop drinking alcohol. If they really care about you then they would help you.

Different meetings draw various people. Attend numerous meetings all around your area; in fact, you ought to attend 90 meetings in 90 days.
