Subliminal: How Your Subconscious Mind Rules Your Behavior

By Barbara Hall

When it comes to the unconscious, it can often be one of the most powerful aspects in life. For, different experiences can often effect how the subconscious reacts to various situations. As a result, a new book Subliminal: How Your Subconscious Mind Rules Your Behavior has now been released and is now available on Amazon through Kindle Direct and at local bookstores.

With over twenty years of research in the neurological field, it has become clear that the unconscious mind is a powerful tool when it comes to getting what one wants out of life. For, social judgment, memory, behavior and perception are subliminal actions which shape reality in the moment. In this new book, the author employs explanations for some of the most obscure and scientific subjects in order to unravel the complexities of the unconscious mind.

By showing how different actions and experiences influence the way different relationships work, it can be easier to understand why and how it can be easy to misunderstand various aspects of life. In addition, the information and insight in the book can also help individuals understand why forgetting important events can be related to subconscious messaging. While, if individuals can stay aware and alert, it can often be easier to overcome these messages, thus making it to appointments and important events while still growing and prospering in life.

While reviews on Good Reads and other sites are often mixed, there appears to be more positive than negative ones. In some cases, readers on both sites suggested that the information had been published in previous self-help guides. Whereas, there are others whom suggest the book is so intriguing it can be hard to put down.

Another reviewer also suggest that a lot of information in the book can be found in others such as "Blink, " and "Strangers To Ourselves." Whereas, at the same the new information on blindsight was informative, interesting and intriguing. In this case, the reader also discusses Mlodinow coverage of cognitive biases and how no one is objective according to recent experience and evidence on the subject.

In a more specific and longer review, the author outlines weaknesses of the human mind. In doing so, it is easier to show just how powerful the unconscious can be in certain circumstances. Whereas, the reviewer also discusses how the author is attempting to educate readers on why and how individuals make different decisions in life based on the unconscious mind.

While the book may seem similar to self-help books of the past, the publication attempts to go deeper into the workings of the conscious, subconscious and psyche than older versions. For, it is one thing to comprehend the existence of the subconscious and another to understand how the mind processes information related to daily life. As such, individuals whom desire to learn more about understanding how and why individuals act and react in certain ways will most likely enjoy the book.

Ultimately, it is up to each reader to recognize the benefits and drawbacks of the practices and theories addressed in the book. In most cases, reviewers have found as much new information as that which has been covered in other publications. As such, if interested in the mind, conscious or unconscious and how thoughts and actions can effect everything from overall well being to happy healthy relationships, it is most likely a book worth reading.
