This therapy involves concentrating on different sacred colors in you subtle body which correspond to some points in your physical body. Therefore, color meditation plays an important role in providing a person with balancing, healing, and cleansing at all levels that include mental, spiritual, vital, physical, and emotional levels. Again, meditation through colors helps to develop visualization and concentration abilities.

Basically, meditation may be used to achieve many things. For instance, it may be used to increase the ability to connect with your true-self, reduce stress, calms your busy mind, spiritual growth, as well as for healing and creative inspiration. Meditations in self-healing can be powerful. This is because many people who use this therapy are able to overcome pain, diseases, and dysfunction.

Practitioners in this therapy posit that humans are multidimensional and possess mental, spiritual emotional, and vital body aspects apart from their physical nature. Practitioners hold to the belief that energy within our bodies may be subtle towards our spiritual than the physical being. They as well believe that diseases and illnesses are a consequence of disharmony within your energy body. When energies remain un-harmonized, illnesses then move inwards thus affecting the denser bodies. Such illnesses become apparent in the physical body as physical illnesses.

Basically, there are different colors used in the meditation therapy. Although colors are results of different vibrations and wavelengths of light, they can be helpful in healing practice. Nevertheless, each color has a different effect on your body, mind, and emotions. For instance, they can be used to raise your spirits, improve your appetite, as well as for spiritual healing.

For example, red is utilized to destroy selfishness, aggression, and anger. This leads to anticipation, courage, and excitement. It is the warmest of all the colors thus it is the element of fire. Consequently, it raises vitality, warmth, the energy within your tissues and circulation. Moreover, it tones and activates your nervous system. It can be utilized when you feel depressed, detached or lost or when you are experiencing gastrointestinal issues.

On the other hand, violet destroys frustration, the lack of self-worth as well as criticism. Rather, it enforces intuition, self -worth, as well as responsibility. Violet is employed for treating chronic mental conditions as well for spiritual detachment.

Yellow is used in breaking up criticism, inability to appreciate life and judgment. Consequently, it enforces newness, optimism, and joy. Yellow can also be utilized when experiencing body weakness, stomach problems or feelings of incompleteness.

When you meditate with blue, you induce decisiveness and trust in your life. On the other hand, it breaks up easily led and weak willed traits. The blue ray is normally the greatest antiseptics and is a soothing and a cooling color. As a result, it can be used to treat heartburn and sore throats. Again, it can be used when you have a problem relaying thoughts or being uncommunicative. Blue is also used as a general color for healing, immune system, and for the working of the lymphatic system.
