Other signs include kicking, stomping, constant neighs, stamping and pawing can all indicate that the animal is agitated. Sometimes though, they might indicate simple boredom. However, since you are a beginner, you should always be wary of these signs.

Loud noises and sudden movements can frighten the stallions and you should therefore avoid them. They read your body language so you should remain composed even when it is not. Keeping calm will help it to relax as well.

It helps if you form a bond with the beast before you attempt to ride it. This can be achieved by taking slow walks so that it becomes accustomed to your presence. Having the animal trust you is very important in determining how it relates with you.
