Understanding Orange County Elevator Service

By Patty Goff

All latches, one on each landing, having a strip or an arm with a small wheel, which when depressed allows the unlocking of a door, and only when mechanically locked by double claw hook, the electrical part is enabled allowing the movement of a lift. There are two types of mechanisms to open the outer doors when the car reaches ground. In ancient lifts there is an element called electroleva that is responsible for pushing the door strip on destination floor (orange county elevator service).

This electroleva is retractable, ie traveling with cabin retracted not to press the strips of each floor through which passes (which would allow the opening of each of the doors and stopping the elevator). The reverse process occurs when the lift is required on another floor: the electroleva retracts before departure and only expands when it reaches the floor.

The cabin is the basic element of an elevator system. It consists of two parts: the frame or chassis and the box or cabinet, or by a self-supporting cab. The frame is supported by vertical guides. Most lifts use a counterweight mechanism, which has a mass equal to that of its cabin, plus half of maximum permissible load, so that the engine does not have to move the entire mass of the car, but only a fraction. As a result, an empty lift is lighter than the counterweight.

The counterweight is also led by guides. Its function is exactly load balancing to facilitate the work of the engine and not force too much to handle the same load. Tractors crane groups are usually formed by a motor coupled to a speed reducer, whose output shaft is mounted sheave trailing cables by adhesion. In the lower or upper ends of car frame is a safety system, whether instantaneous or gradual.

Cruise control mechanism comprises two pulleys, one installed in an engine room and another vertically aligned with the first in the bottom of a hole. Both passes a steel cable whose ends are connected, one to a fixed point on a frame of cabs, and also to a lever system whose end is at the top of a frame. The cable is attached to a car at all times and is completely independent of traction cables, that is, not involved in securing the car and counterweight.

Oddly enough, Elisha Otis's talent as a designer was discovered while working as a master mechanic in a factory making bed frames Albany (New York State). He invented many labor-saving devices, and so was sent to New York, where he could better use his ability. There he designed and built the first lift with automatic safety mechanism in case there was any fault in a cable.

It is also guided by a wedging mechanism. This mechanism was patented in 1853 by Ruben Curiel Lorenzo. Emergency stop device interrupts the power when the car exceeds the extreme rising or descending speed. Interrupting the maneuver cuts power to drive unit and activates brake functions. It permits detention of revoking the elevator cab controls and floors.

This emergency system can also be called "Rescue-matic". In ancient elevators, pressing the STOP button produced an instantaneous stopping of cabin, the traveler may be trapped between floors with no possibility of exit. In current models, this button has ceased to exist on the boards cabin, leaving only the alarm button and emergency device. For use by passengers in an emergency. Sometimes it is connected to a phone line from which you can request assistance in the event of being trapped.
