It's time to take a stand for others.
I've found, time after time, that the measure of a great woman or man is not in what they get, how much wealth is under their belt, the hoards of friends they have or the material goods they possess, but it's in their power to uplift others in the darkest of times.
In the end, that's what really matters.
The world we live in has us deeply obsessed with living in such a way where we try to obtain everything we possibly can.
This way of living has brought us to the point where we have stripped the planet of a great deal of its natural resources and worst yet, the people who were in the way of those doing this were all trampled in the process. And for what? What have we done this for? Progress?
It's time to step out of the story of constantly grasping at material goods.
When you take a step back from the allure of "progress" and start to see what other people are truly in need of, your perspective on this world really does change. Then, when you start to ask yourself the question, "What can I offer the world that it needs desperately" you are headed in the right direction. You might not understand immediately what it is that you have to do in order to fulfill this task, but undertaking the journey is a magnificent step.
So give. Give everything you have.
When you start giving, you end up being rewarded by life in the most incredible of ways. All of that good karma comes right back around to you and guides you in the direction you need to go.
