ADHD is a disruptive condition that a lot of children are diagnosed with that they would carry on to when they get older. Now even though there are a lot of medicines that may be able to help, many people would seek alternative treatments instead in order to avoid side effects. They have also concluded that magnesium actually does help with the condition.

Aside from changing the diet and taking supplements, some herbs may also help. The chamomile herb is known to be one of the most effective herbs as it has a natural calming effect on the body. Another one would be the passion flower which could be drank as a tea and is known to be able to make the body of a child more relaxed.

So if one thinks that his child has this condition, do not go for medical drugs right away. If the condition is rather mild, then it can actually be treated with natural methods. Of course if one would use natural methods, he would have to use them consistently or else they will not take effect in the long run.
