There are sessions for elementary school goers as well. These usually consist of 11 sessions that last between 45 and 60 minutes. Counselors usually focus on drug resistance, general social skills, conflict resolution and how to deal with peer pressure. There are several activities that participants also engage in to enhance their interest. Such programs are recognized nationally as important and get regular funding.

Plans to develop long term communally beneficial solutions are currently in the making. They are primarily guided by the input of members of the community. The local research organizations regularly liaise with the authorities to identify key areas that need to be worked on.
