Acid is a corrosive agent. The agent is capable of corroding metals especially the metals which are not strong. Sometimes the company requires the acidic medium to produce their commodities. Additionally, metals are used during the production. Therefore, if the metal can corrode in the presence of acid, it would be best to employ the process. Boron mixture can be helpful to such a case.

Friction poses a threat to most companies. When friction is intense, it means that the machines made of metals can be worn out. When the machine is worn out, it would be difficult to produce commodities. Most especially if the production relies on those machines. To avoid the loss of clients and reduce profits, it would be essential to introduce the process.

A lot of people think that welding only involves heat. Welding does not involve heat only. Welding can also involve cold. The cold welding consists of two metals that have stuck together. Some may not consider this as a problem. This is a big problem to satellites objects. Moreover, the problem poses a threat to people traveling to the space. It is risky when metals stick together while in space.
